Soccer icon Lionel Messi has entered the competitive beverage market with a new drink to “inspire everyone to take better care of themselves.”
Messi hopes Mas+ makes you feel hydrated like a champion with “Positive Hydration” of electrolytes, vitamins and minerals with natural flavors. The drinks have no artificial sweeteners, colors or caffeine.
The global rollout of Mas+ begins June 14 on masbymessi.com.
“Hydration is essential to overall wellbeing. I believe everyone deserves a drink with amazing ingredients and taste,” Messi said in a press release Tuesday. “Más+ is a drink I’m proud to share with family and friends. Because everyone deserves to feel like a champion in every part of their life.”
Messi has teased the release of his new drink in several Instagram videos, participating in a taste test and walking around a facility where the drink is being produced alongside his wife, Antonela, in the last month.
Where can you buy Messi drink, Mas+ by Messi?
The new Messi drink will debut on June 13 in Miami, with location details available on the Mas+ Instagram account: @masbymessi.
The drink will be available at select Publix and Walmart stores, and available for delivery on GoPuff in South Florida on June 14, while commemorative special edition variety packs with two bottles of each flavor, as well as individual 16.9-ounce bottles will be available online in the United States on masbymessi.com.
The drink is expected to expand to other markets and retailers across Florida, the U.S. in August, and “global markets soon after,” according to the press release.

• Más+ Miami Punch: Inspired by Messi’s current life in Miami as star of MLS club Inter Miami, the Miami Punch has a balanced blend of berry flavors with a hint of pineapple for a fruit punch taste.
• Más+ Orange d’Or: Inspired by Messi’s record eight Ballon d’Or Trophies as soccer’s best player, the Orange d’Or is a orange with hints of tangerine flavor for a balanced citrus taste.
• Más+ Berry Copa Crush: Inspired by Messi’s seven Copa del Rey titles with Barcelona and his Copa America win with Argentina, Berry Copa Crush has a blend of sweet and luscious berry and cherry flavors.
